If you’ve booked a full session, you’re in the driver seat when it comes to location! I will offer guidance and let you know what photographs well, but ultimately, we can choose what’s convenient for you!
Want me to handle the logistics? Say the word and I’ll make all of the choices!
Below are some of my favorite Central Ohio locations.
Slate Run – (Canal Winchester)
Different options at all times of day! There are spots close to parking and even better areas with a tiny bit of walking. Lots of space for kids to run but not as many people as other parks. One thing to keep in mind here, there are not a ton of spring blooms, it can look a little boring in April. Still, this is one of my top favorites!

McGill Park – (Canal Winchester)
This park is quiet and very accessible, the trail is gorgeous and right off of the parking lot. There is a shaded trail, pretty bridges and fields with tree lines. It’s honestly in my top 2!

Inniswoods – (Westerville)
Always beautiful, but always busy! You’ll find the most color (every season) at this park and we can always get good photos away from the crowds. The crowds can be distracting for the kiddos but again, it’s beautiful! Early morning is typically quiet here.

Highbanks – (Lewis Center)
One of the best places to take afternoon photos. This isn’t a typical time that I schedule but sometimes little ones just can’t make it to evening! There is also a water option-you can get in fairly easy and I’ve gotten some stunning maternity photos when the water is up. This is also great for Golden Hour, but that goes for just about anywhere!

Whetstone Park of Roses – (Clintonville)
Typically busy but great for Golden Hour! The roses bloom throughout the summer and offer some gorgeous color but no shade. I only shoot here during evening hours but it’s always gorgeous. I’ve added some photos of additional spots throughout the park.
