One thing I’ve learned over the years…wardrobe can make or break your photos! This often feels intimidating and because of that, I’ve compiled a list of tips and tricks to make it easy. I’ve seen it all, and I’m here to help!
First, lets get the right color palette in mind.
DO choose:
AVOID if possible:

Important nuance:
I love green and blue… just not every shade, and not in every season.
For example: green works beautifully in late fall when the landscape is more neutral. July? Not so much.
Now, time to mix and match.

Step 1: Dress mom first! If you’re comfortable, the rest will fall into place. Flowy dresses photograph beautifully and leave lots of room to move around and still look great.

Step 2: One kiddo? Put them in a plain color if mom is in a pattern, or vice versa. Multiple kids? Choose one to have a pattern and the others in plain color.

Step 3: Have dad wear a top that pulls it all in together!
A few additional thoughts.
-Don’t forget about shoes!
-Avoid too much of one color, it can take the personality out of your photos.
